  Being a Student Ambassador meant that I helped represent the Water-management BA programme (in English) to prospective new-coming students. I have helped out at an Open Day event where I have consulted international students visiting the HZ University campus in Middelburg. Additionally, I have also contacted prospective students via email who were unable to physically attend Open Day events and advised them on any information they needed regarding the studies, housing and other.

  Being a part of the Programme Committee (Opleidingscommissie/ OLC) for the Urban Studies Bachelor Programme consisted of me being closely involved with the Board of the programme, which aims to increase the quality of education for students completing this degree. This experience has helped me gain insight into the different components that make up a university programme and its overall construction. My role was to represent the student body in the OLC, and the training I have completed helped me to prepare for correctly dealing with any issues the students encountered throughout the year regarding the quality of the programme. My main responsibilities included taking meeting minutes, collecting and analysing student course evaluation forms, issuing advice and improvements to the programme and quality standards, as well as communicating about the quality of the programme to students and staff.   I have successfully completed an internship at the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in The Hague, The Netherlands, on the dates of June 1st-30th. My responsibilities were oriented around various tasks at the Embassy. Daily tasks involved producing operational messages and composing short reports on the current political events and developments in the Netherlands, which have sharpened my analytical skills. A different task that has challenged me was participating in an online discussions panel of 'Crimes Against Humanity: the legal framework & the work of the International Law Commission'. The panel was hosted by the Permanent Missions of Kenya, Sierra Leone and United Kingdom to the United Nations. After attending the panel I have produced a report of the panel discussion, which has refined my ability to understand and outline complex issues on multiple scales across various contexts. Further, a major task I was entrusted with was to be a part of writing up the digest of Terrorism Threat Assessment of the Netherlands no. 54, a publication of the National Coordinator for Security and the Fight against Terrorism of the Netherlands.   Working as an Assessor External on the board of the Leiden United student association has given me the responsibilities of maintaining work relationships with other associations we worked with closely, as well as reaching out to external parties for potential collaborations and sponsorships. Within the association, I was the contact person for the members and was in charge of organizing dinner activities with other collaborating associations for six groups of approximately 10 people.   Working as a Chairwoman on the student board of the Leiden-Delft-Erasmus universities Centre for Sustainability organization. My individual tasks are to maintain clear communication between the student board and the Management of the LDE CfS organization, lead weekly meetings with the team to discuss updates and ongoing activities, and ensure the internal and external operations of the board are working well. I have also revised the board strategy to ensure the team's efficiency while working, and the task of hosting educational events for the students of Leiden-Delft-Erasmus universities is currently shared among myself and a colleague.   Permanent Delegation of the Slovak Republic to the OECD

  I have successfully completed my two-week internship at the Permanent Delegation of the Slovak Republic to the OECD in Paris. My tasks varied in nature and covered different topics during my working period. My most significant task was attending the OECD Council meeting held at the OECD on 6/6/2022 where I shadowed the Deputy Ambassador and was responsible for reporting on certain sections of the Agenda presented during the Council meeting.Additional tasks included sitting in on 'The International Network on Conflict and Fragility' (INCAF) Director Level Meeting and writing a report to summarise the outcomes. Similarly, I attended the 'OECD Workshop on Building Systemic Climate Resilience in Cities', and the 'Building Trust to Reinforce Democracy' session followed by writing a report on the presented findings of the OECD.Lastly, I was involved in contributing to the social media channels of the Permanent Delegation of the Slovak Republic to the OECD and helping redesign the structure of the website.
