      As an intern in the sales department, my main function was to assist the Sales Manager. My duties were to send rates to different travel agencies, tour operators, and special corporative groups. Manage group bookings, such as corporative groups for medical conventions and sports games among others. In cohesion with the reservation department and the front desk, we had to make sure all the rooms were ready for the arrival of the group.       Working in Unik was an exciting and gratifying experience as I had to manage a large online community that grew from 25K to 45K followers under my watch. I managed the Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Trip Advisor profiles. Being an in-house Community Manager in a hotel is a particular experience since the role entails a lot of customer service in responding to the doubts and inquiries of the potential guests, as well as solving or managing their complaints in conjunction with the other departments, always in the most efficient and elegant manner according to the high-profile of this luxury boutique hotel.I had to work hand in hand with multiple departments: The graphic designer team in charge of creating the promotional flyers for me to post, the reservation department to redirect the quotes and reservation applications, the event planner department to obtain professional photographs of the events in order to promote them and also covering some social events (weddings, birthdays parties, social or sports events) to promote them on our social media channels and even worked directly, when was strictly necessary, with the General Management or Manager on Duty at the moment of preventing or solving media crisis.Besides the normal tasks of a Community manager, like processing the data and analytics of the social media channels, I was also in charge of analyzing the guest satisfaction surveys and preparing weekly reports to the managers of the different departments for them to address the areas of improvement.I also created photographic content for the social media channels and work closely with the outsourcing videography company to explain the vision in the making of promotional video content for the social media.I also contacted local influencers to make alliances to promote the hotel on social media.
