Preparing and planning daily and weekly activities and planning inspection notification to the clients. Familiar with all quality test like DFT/WFT/Salt contamination/Adhesion/Holiday testing as per relevant ASTM/ISO/NACE/SSPC standard. Monitoring of surface preparation and coating activities. Co-ordinate with clients and sub-contractors on daily basis to resolve production /quality issues. Monitoring ISO documentations and calibrations of inspection equipment are properly maintained by QC teams.Comprehensive Job Responsibility: Work involved by surface preparation by Garnet and Painting of Structural steel, Vessels, Tanks, Piping as per clients specified painting systems. Painting carried out with coating systems like Zinc silicate, Zincrich epoxy, two pack high solid/high build, MIO, Glass flake Epoxy phenolic /Novalac, High temperature silicone and Multi polymeric matrix.Familiar with different paint products and data sheets of leading paint manufacturers like; JOTUN paint /INTERNATIONAL /AKZO NOBEL /HEMPEL paints/PPG /CARBOLINE / NATIONAL Paints. Identifying the paint systems to be followed, method and grade of surface preparation required, preparing daily coating progress report, conducting the meeting related to scheduling of works to meet the commitments.
