Responsible for investigating a wide variety of crime, the sky was the limit. Sharpened skills to provide solid cases through the highest quality investigative means, making prosecution that more effective. Supervised a small staff of detectives and assisted the patrol division with developing their investigative skills. Responded and attended to the needs of the community. Engaged the community through welcomed community policing techniques and positive interactions, built trust and established a solid rapport. Provided the community with a safe place to travel with a solid traffic enforcement program. Engaged in the investigation of crimes that happened during my tour of duty with steadfastness and with due diligence.

Manage patrol operations and criminal investigations division to ensure quality professional service is being delivered to our citizens as well as the tens of thousands of people traveling through our city daily. Implement good stewardship with respect to our fiscal budget; provide our officers with the tools they need to present a safer environment to the community and businesses, all the while building a competitive, efficient, and productive work force. Oversaw day-to-day operations of patrol division while motivating and guiding staff to excel through example and specialized training. I worked within the criminal investigations division as a supervising detective, directing and training other detectives in the mastery of investigative triumph. My success in reestablishing and leading the division was critical to the perception of the agency, the division, and most importantly those behind the badge. Recruited and was subsequently hired to work within a near vacant criminal investigations division charged with the responsibility of working criminal cases and rebuilding the division to an appropriate and professional division.
