      Nov 2022 - now
      Wish Manager

As a Wish Discovery Manager, I have the opportunity to work closely with the children and families whom we serve on a daily basis. The wish journey is exciting and unique, but there are often many steps for families to take before their child's wish can be granted. My role is to help them navigate this process as smoothly and efficiently as possible. By welcoming new families, helping with wish discovery, supervising volunteer wish granters, setting expectations for the families, answering any questions they may have, and ensuring that all necessary information and signatures are gathered before planning a wish, I allow for the wish journey to be an exciting and stress-free time for every child and family. In cases where wishes need extra support or need to be granted more quickly than others, I plan these wishes from start to finish to ensure that each family situation is met with care it deserves. This includes coordination of all travel/logistical plans, any required collaboration with another Make-A-Wish chapter, and the arranging of any necessary medical needs of a child. Show less
