  This was my first experience in sales and was really important to set up a foundation. I got to understand and work with ground realities.I was responsible for generating leads through cold calling and also taking them to final conversion. It was very difficult in the beginning as I had no idea how to go about this but I slowly discovered my own ways of generating leads through social media. The next part of my responsibility was to find the right property for the leads generated.   This was my first experience as a team leader and it provided me with huge insights about work experience and work environment. This was also a huge opportunity for me to gain hands-on experience in B2B sales.I was responsible for cold calling colleges, converting them into leads, and later convince them to finally use our product. Singlehandedly, converted 6 colleges for using our product.Along with the above-mentioned responsibility, I was also responsible for a team of 20 interns.
