  St. Anne's-Belfield School is a community of nearly 900 students from 14 countries, and more than 3,800 alumni spread across the globe, including over 200 faculty and staff. Our campuses comprise over 300,000 square feet of teaching and learning spaces for our students on over 55 acres. Acting as the financial expert and budget liaison for senior leadership, I assist in the development, analysis, and management of the annual and multi-year operating and capital budgets. Analyzing key performance indicators and performing variance analysis to track year-over-year performance, I make financial and budget recommendations to senior leadership to ensure organizational goals are met, prioritize projects, and allocate resources. Crafting concise and colorful financial reports, I convey the organization’s financial story to help leadership make data-driven strategic decisions. I assist internal stakeholders in budget management, expense planning, and resource acquisition. I track and manage operating and capital funding requests based on available budget and priorities. In addition, I perform month-end closing procedures including auditing financial data to ensure accuracy, facilitating expense accruals, re-classes, charge-outs, reconciliation, and capitalization. After the month-end, I update forecasts to stay on top of the organization’s revenue and expense projections.
