  Worked on an initial prototype/feasability study for a 40-Gbps/20-Gbps CMOS Limiting Amplifier in 65-nm standard CMOS before moving on to creating an automated inductor design and analysis workflow. Also aided in the design, layout and modelling of inductors, capacitors and transmission lines for use in a 67-GHz radio receiver. Briefly assisted in the characterisation of a 2.5-GHz CMOS PA including load-pull testing.

  I lead and support a team of talented individuals who are a combination of data engineers, data scientists and product managers responsible for driving over $15MM in incremental top-line revenue each quarter for Yahoo's Display and Video Ads business. We work cross-functionally across the entire $1B+ revenue product space, to identify potential opportunities and existing friction points, designing, incubating, testing and deploying new features and processes to maximise monetisation. On any given day, we may push code for a new data pipeline, write a Spark job to analyse TBs of data, work on a new product feature with Product and Engineering, leading and/or drive results in cross-functional teams.I work closely with partners across the enterprise in identifying, setting and executing goals to further our charter, both directly by identifying opportunities as well as enabling team members to do the same independently, as well as indirectly, by constructing a robust hiring pipeline, evangelising/disseminating our work and learnings, and working with leaders of other organisations to build shared platforms and services. I continued through the Yahoo acquisition into Verizon, helping my immediate team and those of my peers and the larger Brightroll engineering organisation, make the transition into the new Oath business.   I'm focused on rebooting the Revenue's infrastructure and people investments in data and ML. I bootstrapped, built and managed a data organisation (0 -> 50+) consisting of data scientists, data engineers, machine learning engineers and line/middle managers. I championed and drove the technical strategy for adopting a new stack to drive top-line Revenue growth through improved ML velocity and data science-informed Product design. The approach leverages GCP-native products (e.g. BigQuery, Dataflow, TPUs, Vertex AI) augmented with custom on-premise solutions (e.g. Scalding/Hadoop, Presto, Druid) to provide a balance between legacy cost-optimised workloads and high-velocity, "fail fast" products. Investments on the people and technical side have directly yielded multi-$B growth in our top-line performance and brand ads business, new technological approaches in data and ML infrastructure, and a much more data/metrics-informed Revenue organisation.
