      Main purpose of this role is to support the delivery of Moat’s Energy and Sustainability strategy with the specific aim of ensuring that principles and practices become embedded across the organisation and are a key aspect of service delivery to our customers.Key tasks:• Manage a rolling audit of energy efficiency opportunities to establish a programme of projects and evaluate which should be prioritised year on year.• Regularly carry out a desktop exercise which validates the SAP/EPC data within asset management database, identifying and rectifying areas of missing data, cloning, data input, testing the energy module, looking at the key components that drive improvements of energy performance data• Monitor changes relating to the SAP ratings in line with all planned and major works.• To source funding, specific for Housing Associations.• Manage specific projects relating to fuel poverty and sustainability.• Review specifications and methods to ensure opportunities for improvements are incorporated into service delivery to our customers.• Keep up to date with legislation changes and funding streams, including EU energy performance directives and best practice, and communicate this as appropriate throughout the organisation.• Provide advice and information to Moat’s Neighbourhood Services, Supported Housing and Asset Management staff on energy efficiency and where applicable carry out training.• Produce regular reports on performance and publish to interested stakeholders. There are many aspects to this role including; • Auditing all Partnering Contractors, carrying out health and safety checks and generally ensuring all contracts within my given region completed on time and to budget.• Attending monthly operational meetings to update both my Project Manager and the given contractor’s overseeing Contracts Manager, on how the works are progressing and to highlight and discuss any on site work issues requiring further discussion.• Carrying out stock condition surveys and validating all data inputted onto the asset management system.• Carrying out fire risk assessments, on low and medium risk building. Ensuring we kept up to date with the latest legislation and guidance, making sure residents were kept up to date and any identified remedial action was carried out by our approved contractors within appropriate time scales.• Dealing directly with customers to resolve complaints involving our contractors or substandard works.• Provide monthly updates at departmental team meetings, to keep the whole team up to date on current progress.• Liaising with our Development Team to offer advice on newly built units, ensuring that they will be easily serviceable and compliant with current regulations including the RRO (Regulatory Reform Order 2005)• Working closely with the Asset Team and Neighbourhood Officers to ensure that everyone is well informed prior to works commencing, creating transparency and alleviating any concerns that staff or residents may have.In addition to these responsibilities, I led the recruitment for the apprenticeship scheme. Holding monthly operational meetings and updating the Project Manager on progress with the contract. • Regularly issuing full list of completed works to our Clerk of Works for them to carry out validation checks and ensure all information is fed backed and logged under each contract summary.• Validating the quality of stock condition surveys and providing the Project Manager with reports on our current progress.• Attending all operational meetings and with the Project Manager.• Run monthly reports to verify all programmes of completed works have been updated within the asset management system, to ensure accuracy of the 5,10 and 30 year corporate business plan. • To deputise for the Project Manager when on leave, carrying out monthly operational meetings, issuing progress reports, attending monthly departmental managers meetings and completing all process for payments by month end.• Provide support and cover for the Facilities manager, including maintenance and day to day operations at head office and all regional offices. Carrying out audits on service and maintenance, spot check health and safety and out of hours support.Aside from my main duties I was regularly relied upon to give updates/progress reports in meetings across the business.
