      As part of the Application Development group (and since Nov. 2018, the Support Services group) in BYU's central Office of IT, I help organize projects and plan the future for a portfolio of products and services offered to the campus. Leading a team of business analysts to create great IT solutions with special attention to the user experience. Managing the portfolio to keep the products and services financially solvent. Leading a team of business analysts as we guide the direction of IT solutions for the campus community. We have a special charge to shepherd the user experience across multiple IT services. Define strategy for a bundle of technology services, manage projects to implement that vision, negotiate with customers to keep technology aligned/integrated with university business needs. Manage a group of 100 student employees to oversee the operation of open access computer labs on campus. We manage the software on over a thousand lab computers, kiosk computers, and classroom podium computers. Our lab attendants are trained to assist patrons with a wide variety of general computer usage questions. Provide training for campus employees, with an emphasis on employees with IT related jobs. Training includes Windows and Linux servers. Significant project work to influence new products and services offered to campus by the Office of IT. Student employee, part time position. End-user training of university employees in computer software applications such as Microsoft Office.
