  TASC is a conference for aspiring young leaders that want to make a difference by collaborating with people from other cultures to mutually improve the future of major themes such as Modern Issues in Education, Health and Society, Trans-pacific Entrepreneurship, Culture Conflict and Identity, and Media and Communication. These round tables were composed of both Taiwanese and American delegates for the purpose of collaboration experience in the face of diversity, and overcoming such diversity in the interest of a common goal. My part in the conference was as a member of the Modern Issues in Education team. The team's end product was a fully functioning website depicting an in-depth dichotomy of education in America and education in Taiwan. Our goal was to display the pros and cons of each system and to provide our personal ideas drawing from one educational system to improve the other. The project was intended to be interactive and function as a forum for teachers and students alike to engage in constructive collaboration with the intention of achieving an an all inclusive educational system void of corruption and polarization. The website was presented at the conference's final forum to our fellow delegates and esteemed international figures for each of the themes. Show less
