      Oct 2020 - Oct 2020

      - Over the course of a week, I worked remotely in a team with students from varying parts of the country to devise a political campaign to alter the government's 'opt-in' provision to an 'opt-out' provision, in relation to schools providing free period products for their pupils.- Personally, I lobbied local MP's, created social media posts that spread period poverty awareness to help erode the stigma and designed a petition that reached over a thousand signatures in just a couple of days. Our presentation that marked the conclusion of the project was extremely well received as we were commended for our attention to detail, determination and creativity. Show less
