Senior in tenure, Maintenance Control Supervisor, Flight Standardization and Safety Lead. In conjunction, acted in the capacity of a Naval Aircrewman, responsible for the instruction, deliverance and prosecution of Airborne Mine Countermeasures weapon systems in the Sikorsky MH-53E Sea Dragon Helicopter and flight currency in the Bell HH-1N Huey Helicopter. Final assignment prior to retirement from active duty, Senior Enlisted Leader, Helicopter Training Squadron EIGHT. Responsible for the inflight aircrew instruction of 240 Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard and Allied Partner nation student aviators in the Bell TH-57/206 Helicopter.Successfully administered strategic planning to the Commanding and Executive Officers on matters pertaining to budgetary planning of the Defense Travel System alleviating additional personnel.Strategically re-wrote the entire Training Wing Five Suicide Prevention program to allow personnel a more user friendly curricula.       Safety Pro Helicopter Mine Countermeasures Squadron Fifteen HM-15 Nov 2002 On the above date our squadron aircraft performing its final landing qualifications of the evening on our host ship landed with its gear in a catastrophic condition. Recognizing this condition, unknown by the pilots, I quickly by radio communications was able to relay to the pilot to not lower the helicopter fully weight on wheels. I requested my squadron maintenance personnel to quickly shore the defective landing gear of which it was able to lower the weight of the aircraft fully and shut… Show more On the above date our squadron aircraft performing its final landing qualifications of the evening on our host ship landed with its gear in a catastrophic condition. The pipeline burst spewing hundreds of gallons of aviation fuel about the flight line. I was able to secure radio transmissions using hand signals and have personnel secure the fueling evolution and remove the adjacent aircraft.
