Students focus on specific themes including disability, organ theft, plastic surgery, and masculinity and femininity as products of culture. The MedPrep Program offer minority students in grades 9-12 an opportunity to learn about careers in medicine and allied health, with MSM medical students serving as mentors, tutors, and role models. The program meets every other Wednesday from September through May on the MSM campus. Doctors and health care professionals meet with the group during the program.
