Our journey will continue with a critical examination of mind/body interaction in medicine. The latter part of the course was to focus particularly on “the body”—the primary medium through which human beings experience the world. Students focus on specific themes including disability, organ theft, plastic surgery, and masculinity and femininity as products of culture.
