      As the Group Head of Regional Martech & Cognitive Banking, I am incredibly fortunate to lead these key pillars of our organisation: 1) Digital Wealth; 2) CRM; and 3) AI & Data, working hand-in-hand with my talented team of experts as we strive to break new ground in the banking and marketing technology landscape. In this exciting role, I am deeply committed to utilising state-of-the-art generative AI to augment the expertise of our relationship managers, allowing them to deliver the most personalised and effective service possible, ensuring our clients reap maximum value from our partnership. Our in-house CRM system is a vital instrument in this pursuit, as it employs advanced AI algorithms to prescribe the most advantageous course of action for RMs, empowering them to make the most informed decisions for our clients' best interests. This extraordinary fusion of human knowledge and artificial intelligence has revolutionised the way we manage customer relationships, resulting in unparalleled satisfaction levels and value creation for our clients. To take the customer experience to even greater heights, we also digitally engage our clients at scale through timely, pertinent, and tailored prompts, maximising value to clients by steering them towards the most suitable products and services. Concurrently, we provide our RMs with AI-driven insights, enabling them to customize their interactions based on each client's unique preferences and financial objectives. Together with my devoted comrades, we are tirelessly pursuing innovation in cognitive banking, driven by our unwavering dedication to customer satisfaction and our passion for harnessing the transformative power of AI to redefine the future of banking and wealth management. Show less I oversee Consumer and Private Banking data science, data engineering (including AI Ops) and data governance across markets. Together with my very talented teams of data scientists, data engineers, data stewards and AI translators, we develop artificial intelligence solutions to help customers. We are obsessed with customer satisfaction. Our AI-based decisioning covers hyper-personalization, customer targeting, credit underwriting, pricing, portfolio management, customer experience management, customer engagement. I own a cross-functional platform comprising subject matter experts who together built the full-stack infra for real-time hyper-personalised customer interaction across billions of user-stories in multiple markets. Show less I was responsible for 31 DBS branches across 5 districts in Hong Kong, staffed with 2000 employees in consumer banking & wealth management, and another 2000 comrades in supporting functions, as a major part of DBS HK, the fifth largest bank in the SAR. I was charged with overseeing full consumer banking and wealth management responsibilities across all products and market segments comprising retail, affluent and private clients. My functional responsibilities included digital banking, credit cards, unsecured loans, investment products, secured lending, deposits, sales & distribution, wealth management, bancassurance, middle office operations, business tech etc. for consumer / private banking.During my tenure, I oversaw the complex integration of ANZ bank and instrumented DBS HK’s monumental Core Banking systems migration. WIll forever be grateful for the sacrifices and dedication of our comrades who made those possible. Show less I was In charge of all aspects of our wealth management business across Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Indonesia, India and China, covering segments from emerging affluent to private clients. It was a crucial period where we continued to rationalize the assignment of RMs / clients , differentiate our propositions and enhance cross-border collaboration among markets. It was tremendously satisfying to contribute to the management of DBS’s unique set-up of a wealth continuum where our advice to clients is swiftly and accurately pegged to their needs and required sophistication. Show less I assembled a team of risk management professionals across credit, market and operational risks. It was remarkable that seasoned risk experts chose to dedicate themselves to an audit function - We were a formidable multi-risk-discipline team. That was when we started to audit cross-risk impact e.g. market-induced credit risks. I also combined this team with ALM and capital management specialists. Collectively, these comrades formed the Integrated Risk Management Audit function within Group Audit. It was a first for the industry at that time. Show less
