  Hired on as an entry level engineer at a slurry pump company. Spent 2 years working with the test floor engineer, creating test lay outs, computing pump curves, testing pumps, and trouble shooting Data Acquisition test equipment and Labview programming. The remaining of my time at Weir was in the position of a Quality Engineer, and for the past year and a half as both the Quality Engineer and the Quality Manager.

  Manage quality control department overseeing inspection and NDE. Manage scheduling and communication to Effort's internal machine shop and all outside machining services. Main focus: customer rejections, in-house scrap and rework, oversee in-house machine, maintain outside machining scheduling and point of contact for all machining problems and questions involving the castings or blue prints for the castings. Quality Engineer for the Quality Department at Effort Foundry. Main focus is on internal scrap and rework as well as all external scrap or rework. Determining root cause and corrective actions, work daily with the internal pattern shop, foundry, and machine shop as well as daily communications with customers.
