Seminole Torchbearers Florida State University Nov 2016 The Seminole Torchbearers is comprised of current Florida State University students and alumni whose leadership has served and benefited the student body as a whole. A student must be nominated by faculty, staff, or an Alumnus and clear a selection committee who selects only the top nominees. My nomination in 2016 came from my work in the Congress of Graduate Students.

East Asia and Pacific Summer Institute Fellowship National Science Foundation Jun 2015 The National Science Foundation (NSF) East Asia and Pacific Summer Institute (EAPSI) Fellowship imparts U.S. graduate students with the opportunity to lead and conduct their research at host locations in East Asia and the Pacific. The applicants are required to draft a research proposal that is reviewed by NSF, its foreign counterpart, and host location for approval.
