My duties in this role included:• Collating accident data for group reports• Assisting departments with the development of Risk Assessments and Operating Procedures• Developing both 14001 and 18001 at Sandy leading to system integration (First in company to do so as well as first to be recognised as having an integrated system by BSI)• Chairing departmental and site Safety meetings• Coordinating Training and conducting Fork Lift training • Implementation of an Energy Reduction program which lead to savings of approx £12,000 in the first year• Auditing departments and processesWinning Green Apple award for the site for the work we had done with regard to the Environmental management BS EN ISO 14001 and also for the work towards Integrated risk management.
