  Within this role I was creating 3D e-models using the computer software of AutoCad & Solidworks. Architecture drawings & 3D e-models (different formats) were used to produce shelled e-models of buildings designed by the client. These were then ‘grown’ in the 3D printers & used for the engineering tests. This role also included creating '2D graphics' where AutoCad drawings were used to present the engineering results that are integrated in the reports to the client. Another part of the role was to create 2D drawings in AutoCad of 'Disc Traces' (OS information of a surrounding area to the target building). These were then programmed for the CNC machine to be engraved & cut out. Show less

These 3D E-models were then used to create technical drawings which are used for manufacture & production both in-house & outsource.
