   Supervise and monitor the ongoing Permanent Works. Check and Supervise the Permanent Works according to approved drawings and specifications. Ensure that the methods, procedures and materials used by Service Providers (SP) comply with the prevailing HDB or Statutory Standards. Check and ensure that building materials or suppliers used are from the prevailing approved list of materials / suppliers approved by HDB. Selecting random samples for testing according to list of material tests or as per instructions from HDB, and escort these samples to test laboratory as and when necessary. Ensure that Works are carried out in a safe and proper manner. Conduct survey work together with SP prior to the commencement of any Works. Check and ensure proper on-site storage of materials. Check and ensure that the workmanship of Works in progress complies with the prevailing quality standards. Assist in enforcing the safety requirements and ensure the sites are well maintained in terms of safety, cleanliness and tidiness. Report any irregularities / non-compliances / safety infringements by SP to Branch for further actions against SP. Check and ensure that defects identified aresatisfactorily rectified by SP. Conduct site inspection to verify any feedback /identify car parks defects. Submit progress & investigation reports. Assist in verifying and recording all variations carried out on site by SP. Give periodic feedback to HDB on the Works as well as any improvement items pertaining to safety, security, construction, maintenance, etc Inspect and assist with handling / taking over of completed Works. Liaise and coordinate with other HDB contractors or external agencies to ensure timely completion and the handing over of the completed Works. Conduct site studies and provide suggestions for improvements within HDB car parks. Perform other ad-hoc supervisory duties for Civil Engineering Works in HDB car parks as and when requested.
