  Working directly under the Senior Quality & Food Safety Systems Director on the Quality Systems Team for Bimbo Bakeries USA.•Identified key areas of improvement through development of weekly/monthly/quarterly reports sent to top management to assess/track status of multiple areas within quality systems including food safety incidents and costs, consumer complaints, environmental pathogen management and TraceGains. Contributed to a15% reduction in consumer complaints in 2014, while working closely with Director of Quality and Food Safety, and the Senior Director of Quality and Food Safety to draft corrective action plans to address problem areas.•Developed procedures, training materials and provided training and support for the following systems/programs: environmental pathogen management program, conducting pH, TTA, moisture, and NIR analysis, product evaluation program, TraceGains, and audit preparation.•Developed a product evaluation system/metrics to address quality issues in top volume, top complaint and special situation products through a consumer perspective as compared to competitor product.
