      Jul 2000 - May 2005
      Research Assistant

Built a concept design of an improved and simplified interface circuit and defined a simplified trimming procedure of an anemometer (product of Mierij Meteo Systems). Designed and built a prototype of a self-test interface circuit, which takes into account bad weather conditions. Theoretically investigated the anemometer with the help of CFD FEM analyses, coupled with heat transfer analysis.

    • Oce Printing Systems

      Jan 2006 - Sept 2007
      R&D Electrical Engineer

Engineering level lead to internal and external partners for the DIP-drum electronics reliability analysis and production.Performed electrical reliability tests and burn-in tests and defined and supervised the performance of the life time analyses (JEDEC automotive standard) of the DIP-drum electronics.

      Oct 2007 - Apr 2013
      Senior Researcher

Contributed to building the know-how in the Sensors and Energy Harvesters Group on the performance and the application of vibrational energy harvesters.Built finite element and lumped element models and performed mechanical, dynamical (modal, harmonic, time-domain), electromechanical (piezoelectric, electrostatic) and stress analyses. Executed qualification and reliability measurements of harvesters.Coached colleagues on working with FEM for MEMS applications
