This was a 7 year long process in which I delved into a variety of different subjects and learned many new things as I grew and matured into a young man. The skills and values I learned along the way—as well as all the incredible memories I made—are things I will carry with me for the rest of my life. Achieving this rank required me to demonstrate dedication, perseverance, and leadership, especially when it came to the most difficult task of all—the Eagle project. I spent over 120 hours of time planning, organizing, communicating, and leading others in order to complete it. I encourage anyone in scouts considering whether they should earn the Eagle rank to push through the tough times and achieve this great honor as the growth that occurs through this experience is more than worth the time and effort.
