  Upm Paso de los toros pulp mill project in Uruguay. Upm’s biggest investment so far (3,5 billion dollars) to build a greenfield pulp mill in the countryside of Uruguay.Managed construction contracts of the local companies doing the civil works in drying plant and wood handling process areas from the beginning to the end of the project and in non-process buildings for 9 months.Did weekly and monthly reporting to the client and held coordination meetings to coordinate different disciplines on site. Had my own team of local supervisors on site and reported direcly to construction site director.Managed the local companies with kick off meetings, weekly meetings, on site and when needed additional negotiations/meetings regarding quality, cost, safety and schedules.Cooordinated and managed the civil design schedule based on the actual site needs and critical tasks together with design lead.
