I currently serve as the Director of Training Operations and Strategic Planning for the 10th Special Forces Group. In this position, I am responsible for developing and implementing an enterprise-level training and strategic planning program while managing a $50M military asset portfolio allocated to the battalion's training initiatives. I additionally contribute as a trusted advisor to the Commander (CEO-equivalent) on proposed training concepts, overall team readiness, and program resourcing challenges. Over the past 12 months, I have directed a highly-specialized team of five tasked in developing an employee training and assessment program for a group of 500 Special Forces Task Force members resulting in the qualification of over 300+ Green Berets readied for combat operations in Afghanistan. Over the course of my tenure, I designed and implemented an innovative, new counternarcotic disruption model that stifled terrorist organizations from siphoning funds from illegal drug trafficking activities. This program quickly became recognized as a best practice across the military spectrum, adopted by the U.S. Congress, and immediately slated for legislative passage. In addition to this accomplishment, I also: ■ Conducted numerous high-level executive briefings for senior military officials, U.S. and foreign Ambassadors, and members of the State Department. ■ Commanded a national-level Task Force comprised of over 600 Afghans, the Drug Enforcement Agency, and U.S. Army and Air Force personnel abroad for a period of 6 months. ■ Transformed a division of an Afghan partner force by recommending and implementing core changes to the group’s training protocols, mission cycle, and operational stance leading to double-digit gains in partner mission capacity and training hours. ■ Designed a phased approach to build Tajikistan’s defensive capacity by way of their most elite counter-terrorism unit with a 33% increase in workforce and a 50% increase in effectiveness by influencing adjustments to overall organizational structure. ■ Orchestrated and gained executive buy-in for the first U.S.-partnered, joint operation between two Tajik ministries that propelled the U.S./Tajik relationship to new heights of trust and cooperation. Show less In 2015, I graduated from the highly-competitive and demanding U.S. Special Forces Qualification program to join the ranks of one of the most elite forces in the world-- the Green Berets. I additionally volunteered for a deployment to Niger, where I successfully: ■ Coordinated over 50 logistic operations throughout Niger by building relationships with local power brokers.■ Represented the U.S. Special Operations Command during key, senior-level engagements with the Department of Defense and American dignitaries at the U.S. Embassy in Niger. ■ Oversaw improvements to a $2M military contracting program; utilizing identified cost-saving to activate another Special Forces team to the area. ■ Trained, mentored and coached a rising talent on property accountability systems; effectively transitioning the tracking and movement of $24M in military supplies across the African continent.
