   Process, monitors and supervises all operations like cash systems, clearing, remittances, clean collections, WHT, reconciliation and other branch banking operations in adherence to bank’s internal policies & procedures and the SBP regulations. Ensure proper implementation of Bank policies & operational procedures, Head office instructions, SBP prudential regulations and any other directives in respect of conduct and operations of the branch. Monitors, supervises and authorizes daily financial and non-financial transactions. Ensure that daily start of day (SOD) & end of day processes (EOD) are processed in time and ensures that daily/periodical backups are taken. Ensure proper security & compliance of passwords and system management as per strict controls and policies. Ensures that all transactions are processed error free; ensure all branch functions are carried out in accordance with laid down procedures and policies in SBP circulars and operations manuals in day to day branch working.  Joint custodian of branch safe keys; ensure proper record maintenance of keys & security stationary etc.  Monitors and maintains vault cash within prescribed insurance limits set by the Bank and up to the needs of the branch. Assist and supervise teller(s) on his/her daily transactions and effectively resolve problems if arising with internal and external customers, Ensure verification and supervision of cash sheets of teller(s) and of all cash withdrawals / deposits / transfers exceeding a certain specified amount. Co-ordinates with internal and external audit teams; attend and ensure timely and proper rectification of audit objections and non-repetition of the same, and ensure that branch gets acceptable audit rating on internal and SBP inspection. Ensure branch takes austerity measures in spending, controls expenses and maintain expenses within budget. Ensures the branch’s security systems are smoothly working.
