  With increasingly well-rounded expertise in pet shipping, and the ability to manage both the logistics and the care of animals during relocation, I am involved in the day to day coordination of the safe transport of pets across international borders. All moves must meet IPATA standards and, as part of the process, I must manage the necessary health certificates, vaccinations and medical records to ensure compliance with destination country requirements. I also arrange IATA compliant carriers, origin boarding, vet services, flights, ground transport and in-transit care. The role requires understanding and navigating complex customs and import/export regulations for different countries and providing clear, timely communication to pet owners, airlines, customs agents and other stakeholders.
