      I initially joined the commercial rent review and lease renewal department before completing my training in Investment Management. Post qualifying as a Chartered Surveyor I remained in Investment Management and became responsible for the investment performance of a number of portfolios on behalf of UK based Pension Funds.

      Aside from the Canada Water role I also led the residential Build to Rent team to oversee and co-ordinate the acquisition of a Private Rental Residential business and Property Portfolio with a large Sovereign Wealth Fund. Involving the purchase and integration of an existing specialist BTR company into the BL Group together with the acquisition of a number of London based BTR property assets and the formation of a new JV.       Canada Water Investment Director

      On secondment from the Investment team to run the acquisition and investment function to develop Canada Water, a 53 acre mixed use regeneration in zone 2 London. When complete, the development will be over 5Msq.ft including 3,000 homes, 2Msq.ft offices and 1Msq.ft of retail and leisure. From managing as a JV asset I acquired Tesco's remaining 50% interest in part of the site, purchased an adjoining 8 acre site and resolved litigation on a third site, to allow the comprehensive development. In May 2018 I negotiated a Master Development Agreement with Southwark Council for a new 500yr leasehold structure that facilitates equity participation either through direct legal interests in land or corporate ownership of SPVs over the life of the development.A planning application for the whole site was submitted on 11th May 2018 and consent granted May 2020. Construction will commence on site early 21.Feb 2020, I negotiated an agreement with Tesco to release existing covenants over Canada Water and facilitate Tesco's relocation to a new purpose built store and Petrol Filling Station as part of the masterplan.
