Working directly under the AGM as a Band 7 Manager, to coordinate and oversee the day-to-day service provision of Peterborough & March Ambulance Stations. Working directly under the Clincal Field Operations Manager to assist with the day-to-day service provision of Peterborough & March Ambulance Stations, by managing a team of 12 clincians. Working as an IHCD Paramedic from qualification until present day, in and around the North West region of East Anglia.       Working as a Paramedic in the Primary Care field, alongside the Partners, GPs, Consultant Nurse and clinical staff at Cedar House Practice, to develop and forge the new role of a Paramedic Practitioner - whilst undertaking on-going training and educational development. Managing a list of same-day, minor injury and illness appointments and attending Home Visits - assessing and treating patients using the Advanced Paramedic / Emergency Care Practitioner skill-set and scope of practice, in conjunction with consulting the On-Call GP for any necessary prescribing and referrals. Daily duties also include ordering and review of ECGs, Urinalysis and Bloods pathology reports - and taking responsibility for some of the Emergency Care procedures and 12 Lead ECG training in the Practice.       Senior Advanced Care Practitioner (Bank)

      Working at Masters level, in the Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC), seeing undifferentiated patients of all ages within an urgent and primary care setting.Practising in a highly autonomous manner as an experienced Senior Clinician with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, providing expert clinical and professional support to other Clinicians and staff. Responsible for managing own caseload; assessing, treating, referring and discharging patients in my care. Working collaboratively with senior medical and nursing teams, providing a patient-focused service ensuring safe, efficient and timely flow of patients through the department. The UTC provides primary care support to the Emergency Department at Addenbrookes Hospital, accepting patients from 111 and streamed from ED. The UTC provides GP and Emergency Practitioner led minor injury / illness care, 7 days per week, enabling a patient to be seen by a Clinician most appropriate to their presenting condition. Seeing just under 40,000 patients in 2021, with an average of 107 patients per day, the UTC is a fast-paced but rewarding environment to deliver excellent patient care. Show less
