As a Senior Investment Officer at Global Affairs Canada's Invest in Canada Bureau, I was responsible for promoting Canada as a preferred destination for foreign direct investment (FDI), through outreach activities which include organizing investment-focused events and roadshows for Canadian provinces and municipalities. As a Research Analyst for the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade's Invest in Canada Bureau, I was responsible for creating company profiles of foreign potential investors and briefing materials for our post officers abroad.
