  Played a key role in the successful implementation of the YJB’s AssetPlus Project (see below), this role is a natural development from the last, using business and system knowledge, and strong relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate the secure interoperability of cases between agencies working with young people. Selected Achievements:• Developed and agreed with five software suppliers a mechanism to enable cross-supplier data transfer. • Managing evolution of sector requirements in responding to new societal challenges, including the “County Lines” modern slavery phenomena, and the sector response to the Coronavirus pandemic. • Implementation of ‘Big Data’ initiative for the YJB to enable analysis of young people’s case data. to highlight and disseminate best practice across the sector and respond to Parliamentary questions.• Working with stakeholders across the sector to optimise the efficient use of systems and data security, bringing improved outcomes for young people and wider society. Show less This was a turnaround role; a central government project designing and delivering a comprehensive and scalable assessment and intervention delivery framework to all local authorities and secure establishments in England and Wales. The project was delivered on time and within budget and has helped facilitate improved outcomes for young people and practitioners working with them.Notable Achievements:• Key role in facilitating cooperation between software suppliers to deliver the new assessment framework. • Developed a comprehensive data dictionary and requirements document set using Cabinet Office open data standards to support interoperability. • Delivered alignment of offence recording in youth justice sector with other criminal justice agencies (including Police, Probation and courts), reducing administrative overheads, improving accuracy of legal case records.• Implemented an actuarial “likelihood of reoffending calculator”, in alignment with Probation services, enabling the youth justice system to appropriately manage risk to young people in the community. • Developed a database to manage the framework’s implementation across all councils with local authority data to provide local, regional and national dashboards and reports showing live rollout progress and managing risks.
