Management & Staff Development - Line-managing a team of 25-30 part-time tutors. Development of team including: inducting new members of staff; day-to-day line management; designing and running monthly training; performance management through holding bi-annual appraisals,Recruitment - Recruiting new members of staff through online ads, job fairs and staff referral schemes; holding telephone interviews and recruitment days and managing subsequent on-boarding of staff. Finance - Being responsible for the financial success of the centre by tracking payments from members and ensuring direct debits are set up on time and correctly for all members, and following up on any failed payments for collection.Teaching - Working closely with each child to create a learning plan at the outset of their membership, and continuing to tailor this through monitoring progress and adapting levels and goals. Tutoring children aged 5-15 in maths and English.
