  About the Project:National Transmission & Dispatch Company’s (NTDC) Matiari-Lahore ±660 HVDC Transmission Line Project was constructed and operated by China Electric Power Equipment and Technology Co., Ltd. (CET), a subsidiary of the State Grid Corporation of China (SGCC). Spanning approximately 886 kilometers, with a transmission capacity of 4,000 MW, two Convertor Stations with AC switching stations at Matiari and Lahore and two Grounding Stations at 60 kms from Matiari & Lahore Converter Stations included in the project.Key Responsibilities:• Responsible for arranging and participating in the project meetings.• Using the project scope data and design to create a plan to execute the specific task.• Manage staff and assigns tasks to engineering and technical personnel.• Planning and making analysis.• Assist to conduct the survey of the site, excavation work and foundation work of towers.• Supervise towers assembly, installation and erection work.• Insulators assembly, inspection and installation.• Earthing, Stringing work and sag of main conductor (ACSR) and OPGW.• Evaluates electrical systems and components.• Assist to create and oversee project budgeting, estimation and engages in cost management strategies.• Work with the engineering team to plan, coordinate.• Oversees project logistics and resource allocation.• Execute electrical system breakdowns, failures, and repair.• Assure that processes meet quality and safety compliance guidelines.   About the Project:China Electrical Power Equipment & Technology Co., Ltd by State Grid Corporation of China is the main contractor of Smart Field Equipment Deployment Project (Medium voltage up-to 36KV) by Saudi Electricity Company. The main role of the CET as a contractor in this project is the procurement of smart field power equipment, operation of distribution network during installation, Dismantling/Installation of smart field power equipment, Testing and commissioning of smart field equipment including interface with distribution control centers.Equipment in this project are as follow:Smart Ring Main Unit (SRMU)Smart Metered Ring Main Unit (SMRMU)Smart Overhead Load Break Switch (OH LBS)Smart Auto-RecloserSmart Auto-SectionalizerKey Responsibilities:• Drafting the technical part of the procurement document.• Coordinated with direct client Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) and liaised with vendors and subcontractors regarding procurement, planning, installation and operations.• Making the standard workflow and procedure.• Conducted the equipment testing including Pre-Qualification Test, Mass Production Test and Factory Acceptance Test for RMUs and related equipment.• Coordinate with the vendors to resolve any issues in the equipment during Installation, commissioning and operations. • Coordinate with IFS to develop the Work Force Management System (WFMS).• Design, integration and operations of WFMS with SEC SAP system through SFTP server.• Summarize the site survey and analyze the quantity of the elbow terminations, extra medium voltage cables, joints, foundations, if required and support the procurement department to issue purchase order to the relevant provider.• • Prepared request for information (RFI), installation inspection report (IIR), testing inspection report (TIR) and material inspection report (MIR) for quality assurance and compliance.• Ensured proper recording of all BOQs for each installation and prepared invoices using BOQs.
