Throughout this experience, I have learned to master Microsoft Office, while furthering my education in medical services. I was assigned to complete a variety of research projects given by the employers in WIC Department, Immunizations, Health Education, HIV Testing, and Epidemiology. These projects include; development of autopsy and toxicology reports, attending local events to spread awareness on health topics by creating presentation boards and informational brochures. After developing statistic analyses of disease and illness breakouts within the Putnam County including; measles and STDs, I was able to further my knowledge in using Microsoft Office applications. Additionally, I created and assembled informational new-born folders to be given to all new parents in the Putnam County. Along with that, I also provided assistance working with the deputy commissioner (Ken Clair, Robert Lipton) in creating emergency medical plans for public events and parades by ensuring accessible ambulance, fire, & police services, cooling centers, etc. I was responsible for handling customer's confidential information in an appropriate manner.
