  Since January 2015 I've been working in this restaurant almost every weekend and during summer months I've also spent many hours working there. I love the contact with clients and of course with my colleagues. I always make sure that everything is at the client's service. The restaurant attracts not only locals but also many tourists therefore I can keep my knowledge of English, French, Spanish and Italian up to date.

  Metro Hotels is the oldest 100% Australian owned and managed hotel chain with 15 Hotels, Apartments, Resorts & Inns through-out Australia. Metro Hotels manage Groote Eylandt Lodge on Groote Eylandt in the Northern Territory.During these 4 intense months at Groote Eylandt Lodge I was able to grow from waitress to having a floor managing position and working allround at the lodge. The island is located in remote Australia and has it's own special atmosphere. The amount of responsibility got bigger every month and I have learnt so much since the start of this job.I'm much more aware now of my own qualities and difficulties, and I have learnt to deal with certain situations in more appropriate ways than I did before. I worked as a receptionist for 4 months, while also doing the bookkeeping and in the evenings working in the bar and restaurant.
