  Worked with team to design and test a ubiquitous data manager deployed in a JBoss application server as part of Real-Time-SOA Development Project. Tasks included linking the data manager to legacy software systems and creating an easily persistent data object. Also, assisted in delivery and maintenance of tactical display for target identification sonar system aboard U.S. Navy vessels.

  Volunteer - Dominican Republic

  As a Health Extension Volunteer, Scott trained over 20 rural health promoters in the prevention of adolescent pregnancy and HIV/AIDS, treatment of common illnesses, and improved nutrition and hygiene habits contributing to the creation of a sustainable, country-wide network of promoters. Additionally, Scott created a web-based online information system for the youth health program allowing Peace Corps to efficiently and accurately track program activities and generate custom data reports to evaluate programs. Further projects included a local sanitation project in which 24 hygienic latrines were constructed and an improved cook stove project that is in the progress of building 35 stoves. Mostrar menos

  Scott leads a group of Technical Operations teams that support a U.S. Government client. Scott's teams bridge the gap between technical architecture and production operations by assisting in the development of new middleware components and enhancements, providing Tier-2 production support, and managing the software infrastructure used to develop and test new code. Prior to his current role at Accenture, Scott led a Technical Operations team in support of several Government websites.
