  Through a directed independent study course, under the advisement of Dr. Peter Ricci (Director of Hospitality and Tourism Management Programs at FAU) I explored the history of destination marketing, its application in South Florida, and ways of drawing more international visitors to the Isle of Man. The project has personal significance to me because my family comes from this picturesque but largely unknown island in the Irish Sea.
