  I work with students ages 5-13 with dyslexia, dyscalculia or other learning difficulties, offering tuition on a 1:1 basis in Literacy and Mathematics. To support students in the development of their literacy skills (reading, writing and spelling) I am able to provide specialist structured multisensory programmes and I am qualified to teach using the latest programme from Dyslexia Action, the Dyslexia Action Literacy Programme (DALP). Each programme is individually planned after an initial placement assessment. Lessons would usually be for one hour, once per week. I am happy to liaise with schools and to offer advice and support to parents. I have a strong interest in using assistive technology and I am able to support the development of study skills.
