      Essentials of Orchestra Management Seminar

The curriculum explores both the fundamentals of orchestra management and the changing nature of orchestras; those new values, skills, roles and practices that are emerging as orchestras evolve. No matter what role you aspire to in serving American orchestras, knowledge of fundamentals is key. The curriculum is shaped so that participants gain an understanding of what constitutes the essential work in each of the functional areas of orchestras, why it is important, and how it is evolving.
