  • To Manage and Mentor 2 Direct report and 5 Indirect reports• Interface with Chorus and Suppliers to Procure and acquire consigned and un-consigned materials, plant and equipment• Negotiate with suppliers over price and quality as and when required• Work with the Commercial Team to establish, update and manage Supply agreements with suppliers• Arrange Site facility availability from existing Downer property and or procure from market as required• Procure and co-ordinate waste management for Job sites and Facilities • Responsible for all UFB Material deliveries to sites around the country.• Working with PM’s, Planners and schedulers to ensure the right goods arrive at the right time• Build Strong relationships with suppliers such as transporters to ensure facilitation of timely deliveries• Maintain effective working relationships with field staff assisting the site support administrators in each location with respect to the requirements for tracking and reporting of consigned and un-consigned materials• Forecast expected materials needed and arrange for consignments from supplier• Work with established logistics policies and procedures to optimise handling, storage and transport resources• Liaise with Accounts payable in a proactive and responsive manner to ensure Supplier invoices are paid in full and on time• Ensure appropriate quality assurance systems are in place.
