I closed out the secondment by preparing an IS strategy for the mine. The project also included identification, acquisition and retention of historical business data. Managed Document Management Systems Projects. Managed small team developing and Supporting Geospatial Information Systems and reviewed BHP IT capability in GIS and strategies.I took over management of several Document Management system projects following the unanticipated loss of the Project Manager. One major one, in particular, was in difficulties following the loss of the key technical resources and consequently ran significantly over budget in both time and cost. I managed the project to completion, repaired the relationship that had deteriorated and was able to negotiate a better than expected financial outcome as a result. Show less
