  I was hired on to take over the K-5 Math instruction for the campus. Dogan was considered to be a low performing school who was rated Improvement Required 5 (IR5) with a grade of F for Texas state accountability. After one year of being the Math instruction specialist, we were able to turnaround Dogan Elem into a Met Standard campus in 2018 and in 2019 completely led Dogan out of IR and to a grade of C for State Accountability. Educating inner city youth!
