  For the ICHTHYS FPSO project by INPEX, following the delivery, I manage on-site vibration issues through whole topside and hull at compression trains and rotating equipment.I serve in various capacities:As a lead piping stress engineer, I was the supervisor of hull pipe stress team that I led to manage the work schedule, fatigue analysis, displacement calculation, flange leakage check, pipe load extraction, stress analysis philosophy, and critical lines selection criteria. I also cooperated in piping layout with engineers and structural engineers. My special analyses in this capacity includes:• FRAMO pump and resilient support in CAESAR II: compromise saved more than 10 cargo pumps over nozzle load under vendor’s confirmation.• NIPO flange FIV analysis according to EI guidelines: approved by technical authority and result saved about $600000 worth of rework• Topside module displacement in fatigue analysis: result saved 2 systems (fire water system in topside & ballast filling system in hull) out of fatigue analysis failure.As a piping stress engineer:I performed stress analysis of cargo piping systems, diesel oil transfer, HC blanketing, inert gas, maintenance/atmospheric vent, ballast filling, tank loading (MEG, slop, wash), tandem offloading, heating coil, etc. I also served as a lead support stress engineer where I led the support stress team for cargo deck and hull inside, decided support calculation method, created Excel spreadsheet for welding check, simplified fatigue analysis, and performed preliminary calculation, 21 for cargo deck and 167 for inside hull and submitted.   Senior Research Engineer

  I led the modeling & simulation team in the digital twin(DT) group of the Vision R&D department to build a DT of aircraft for Korea Aerospace Industries, LTD (KAI). I reviewed the hydraulic pump schematic in SIMULINK as Level 3 DT and developed a hybrid model (neural network + physics-based model) for deep learning (DL) in MATLAB.

  For the Barossa FPSO project by Santos, I led hull piping stress analysis. I reviewed piping stress analysis reports and resolved client comments with a technical background. I handled all Site Queries and Design Change Notices for piping issues from the construction site. I also wrote a hull piping stress analysis philosophy and estimated MTO for a new project.
