  I edited the University of Canterbury's weekly 32-page student magazine, Canta. Working to strict and frequent deadlines, I provided editorial direction; managed a large team of volunteer contributors; edited copy; advised on design; and wrote a large number of features, columns, reviews, editorials, news items, and advertorial. In addition, I supported our related communications, events, and support service teams. I also reviewed cake from time to time. I designed and maintained the Association's websites and organised its web presence, including administering social media outlets. I also worked at student events and provided general support to the communications and support service teams.

  Campaign Designer

  After winning Student Job Search's national “Big Idea” advertising competition 2009, I developed a concept for a national print, radio, ambient, and online advertising campaign targeted at businesses and students to promote greater awareness of tertiary students’ unique strengths and talents.
