      Msc Acoustics

Activities and Societies: I have been "rusvejleder" and "tankel" twice of each. Both are a sort of tutor that helps new students through their first semester at DTU. Some knowledge within analog electronics mostly audio equipment. Specialized within acoustics, both electro acoustics, psycho acoustics, and also more traditional advanced acoustics regarding sound fields in rooms, pipes, and the outsides. I also acquired knowledge of environmental acoustics. My bachelor was about product sound quality regarding click sounds from computer keyboards. I also acquired knowledge of environmental acoustics. My bachelor was about product sound quality regarding click sounds from computer keyboards. Sounds from the keyboards were recorded using HATS, and evaluated subjectively by a listening panel, and objectively by B&K PULSE. The objective and subjective results compared. My master thesis was about bone conduction and its use in headsets. An analysis was made of an existing bone conduction microphone and the transfer function of speech through the head was found through experiments. Show less

      Electro Acoustic Developer

I am part of a team that develops the future hearing aid platforms. My focus is on the electro acoustic and vibroacoustic part of the development, working closely with other electro acoustic engineers and also mechanical and electronic engineers. Having a role as Finite Element Simulation Expert means I have a strong focus on carrying out simulations of acoustics, vibration, and structural strength in the various projects. I also, take part in the development of new simulation methods and writing of best practices and guidelines. Furthermore, there is heavy use of laser vibrometer and other measurement techniques to verify designs and for troubleshooting. Show less
