      -Traveled throughout Canada and the USA to develop relationships and leverage partnerships with government and non-government organizations and individuals to meet public involvement requirements under key legislation and program/departmental mandates.-Communicated and coordinated with internal and external clients to promote program goals and objectives for key environmental legislation (i.e. The Canada – United States Great Lakes Water Quality Agreement) -Researched and sought public engagement opportunities that aligned with the mandate of the Regional Director General’s Office. -Researched and analyzed environmental issues presented by stakeholders, as well as those published from peer-reviewed articles, scientific publications and media resources; configured this data into plain-language format and provided key summaries to senior staff. -Translated material from our scientific reporting into plain language information and drafted various publications for online and print.-Represented Environment Canada at various national and international Symposiums and Conventions.
