      1. Surge Analysis by using PIPENET.• Identify the maximum surge pressure developed in the piping system under various operating cases.• Review the suitability of setpoints for the relevant pressure and flow transmitters in the system.2. FIV Study• Identify the potential critical lines i.e., determine the likelihood of failure (LoF) by calculating the kinematic energy and Fv factor for different pipe support arrangement (based on EI guidelines).• Recommend actions to reduce the likelihood of vibration either by acting on the sources of turbulence or the response of the critical lines. 4. HAZID/HAZOP• Prepared Term of Reference (TOR) and Worksheet. • Identified potential hazard and consequences. 5. RAM• Prepare equipment modeling assumptions for all the systems i.e., critical system, degraded system or incipient system, including other assumptions for RAM models i.e., facility life, target availability and etc.• Determine the Mean Time to Failure (MTTF) and Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) for each equipment item based on data collected from OREDA.6. SIL Classification Study• Prepare Term of Reference (TOR) and SIL Worksheet i.e., Probability of Failure on Demand, Target Likelihood, Risk Reduction Factor and etc. • Identify the initiator and the final elements based on Cause-and-Effect Matrix• Screen potential hazard scenarios based on HAZOP review. 7. Dropped Object Study• Prepare Assumptions Register i.e., dropped object criteria, lift data, probability of dropped object and frequency exceedance criteria.• Determine the credible dropped object impact energy and the swung load impact energy8. EERA• Assess the EER facilities against the Performance Goals and Impairment Criteria9. ESSA• Assess the ability of the critical emergency systems on the platform to withstand the incremental impact from MAEs for a sufficient time by performing vulnerability analysis, “fail-safe” analysis, redundancy analysis and diversity analysis.
