Each rotation has offered a unique and valuable experience that has contributed to my clinical knowledge and skillset.-General Medicine: Foundation in medicine, thorough history-taking and physical examination, interdisciplinary teamwork.-Surgery with Anaesthesiology: Hands-on surgical experience, anaesthesia types and complications, communication with surgical team.-Family Medicine: Primary care, chronic illness management, health promotion, personalized patient-centered care.-Obstetrics and Gynaecology: Women's health, pregnancy and childbirth, gynaecological procedures, teamwork.-Pediatrics: Children's health, growth and development, childhood illnesses, family-centered care, effective communication with children.-ENT: Disorders , diagnostic procedures, minor surgical procedures, understanding head and neck anatomy and physiology.-Psychiatry: Mental health disorders, therapy and medication management, assessment of psychiatric emergencies, understanding psychosocial factors.-Infectious Diseases: Diagnosis and management of infections, prevention strategies, outbreak management, understanding epidemiology.-Ophthalmology: Eye disorders, laser therapy and surgical procedures, understanding of eye anatomy and physiology.The rotations in different departments provided valuable clinical experience, interdisciplinary teamwork, and exposure to different specialties. They helped to develop a solid foundation in medicine, acquire clinical knowledge and skills, and understand the applied aspect of patient care. Effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams was highlighted. These experiences were crucial for gaining a better understanding of the various medical specialties and helped to guide career decisions. Show less

  External Monitor

  As an external monitor for the World Health Organization, I had the opportunity to play a critical role in the fight against COVID-19. My main responsibility was to inspect the availability and utilization of COVID vaccines at Primary Health Care centers, ensuring that the vaccines were being distributed and administered efficiently and effectively.I also monitored house-to-house visits to assess if individuals had been vaccinated or not, which helped to identify any gaps or barriers in the vaccination campaign. Through my work, I was able to contribute to the global effort to control the spread of COVID-19 and protect communities from the virus.It was an honor to work with the World Health Organization and to be part of such an important mission.
