  - Worked with a group of archaeologists, anthropologists, botanists and other staff members investigating the remains of the Maya commoners in the site Chawak But’o’ob located in an unexplored subtropical forest in Belize, Central America. - Used an infrared-laser Mapping Station to establish mapping points and record topography for mapping of ancient Maya households.   Structural Mechanics Branch- Worked in the Structural Mechanics Branch designing and analyzing different shoring systems configurations by developing finite element models in SAP2000 and Autodesk Inventor to recreate real scale conditions.- Created drawings for the proposed shoring system in AutoCAD and created a 3D virtual tour of the structure to be reinforced for a better appreciation of interior spaces.
