Project managed upgrade of SAP Business Objects business intelligence platform, offshoring of certain risk reporting functions, and other process improvement initiatives. Partnered with ANZ’s Business Banking and Corporate Banking businesses on strategic and tactical projects and initiatives impacting credit risk management as the Global Financial Crisis emerged. Poached into Group Finance to lead Sarbanes Oxley ('SOX') project deliverables, simplify financial reporting controls and embed into BAU activities.Invented tools and templates that remain in use today (2023). Led several program work streams including methodology (tools and templates for self assessment of financial reporting controls), stakeholder training, and evaluation of control deficiencies. Project managed a multi-national team of six people in Fiji on control self-assessment of key commercial and retail lending, FX and treasury processes underpinning financial reporting. Invented several templates and tools that were adapted for Group-wide use.
